10:30 – 11:30 am Swim Registration
11:40 am – Mandatory swimmer’s meeting
12:00 pm - 500 meter swim starts
12:15 pm - 1500 meter swim starts
1:15 pm - Awards

Kayak & Canoe Races
12:00 – 1:30 pm – Registration
1:40 pm – Mandatory skipper’s meeting
2:00 pm – Races begin, competitive classes first 3:35 pm - Course is closed
4:00 pm – Awards

*Note—All times are pushed back 30 minutes on the rain date, Sunday, July 26

Forest River Park is one of Salem’s hidden gems and it will be open to the public for this event. Bring your family and friends to cheer you on! We’ll have food, music, massage, an “underwater petting zoo” and some interesting exhibits. A great day will be had by all

Forest River Park, 98 West Ave, Salem MA

Held at Salem’s beautiful Forest River Park, the Swim & Fin Race for Salem Sound includes kayak/canoe races and swim races in Salem Harbor.

All proceeds benefit Salem Sound Coastwatch, an action oriented non-profit organization working to preserve, protect and renew the environmental quality of the coastal waters and marine habitats of Salem Sound and the Massachusetts’ North Shore.
